Wade CoachingWHO I AM

I am an experienced Leadership and Career coach and have worked with a range of clients from different sectors including financial services, insurance, medical research, oil & gas, sports marketing, the NHS, education and IT. Now running my own coaching business, my background is in leadership and organisational development. I have also been Head of HR in a FTSE 100 organisation and a member of several Executive Leadership teams.

MY CREDENTIALS

I am a graduate of the Meyler Campbell ‘Mastered’ Programme, which is Accredited by the Association for Coaching and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I am also a member of the Association for Coaching and accredited by them as an ‘Executive Coach’. In addition to my formal coaching training and accreditation, I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. I am also licenced to use a range of psychometric instruments including MBTI, Hogan Development Survey, NEO Personality Instrument and Insights Discovery

WHY I COACH

I coach because I know that it can make a huge difference. I also get great satisfaction from helping others to make progress in their careers or make the improvements that they want to in how they lead others. I enjoy working with diverse individuals from a range of backgrounds who bring their own unique challenges.

HOW I COACH

I look to build strong relationships and develop trust with clients to help them identify practical solutions to the issues and challenges they face. I always have some kind of “chemistry” meeting before working with a client. This would generally involve getting to know each other, me seeking to understand something about the context in which the client is working and the kind of challenges they would want to explore. I make it clear to individuals that it is important for us both to feel that the relationship can work before embarking on a programme together.

FORMAT OF THE COACHING

I am happy to work with each client to agree the most suitable format for the coaching – e.g. face to face, video calls or phone calls. Typically I now find that most coaching programmes involve a mix of different formats.

MORE ABOUT ME

My roots are in the Midlands but I now live in Gloucestershire. I am married to Tracey and have four children, three daughters in their 20s and a teenage son….and a cat! Lockdown helped me to discover lots of new walks in my local countryside and this is where you’ll often find me, headphones in listening to a podcast or book.

My big passion beyond my family and work is football. I’ve been a youth football coach for over 10 years and am also Vice Chair of the club. I am a lifelong Wolverhampton Wanderers fan and my son and I are season ticket holders at our local club, Forest Green Rovers. I’m also on a mission to have watched a match at all 92 Premiership/Football League grounds!
